IT'S OFFICIAL*JUNE 6

Well everyone it is officialI got the best birthday present ever this year, Ashlyn crawled, hoorrahhh! Atleast I think I am excited, she is already getting into everything. She is so stinkin' cute though, I can't even get mad at her when she crawls over to the coffee table and finds the Ensigns and tear them up in the matter of 3 seconds.

For about 2 weeks Ashlyn had been teasing Tyler and I, only taking a step or two while on her hands and knees, then returning to her bum or belly. But I guess she was just waiting for the perfect time to crawl, she sure did time it right. She is 8 months old, I am so proud of her.

Tyler woke me up the morning of my birthday with two presents: a new Nikon D40 digital camera that I have been wanting for a long time, and an appointment with Arkana Hair Salon. For weeks I had been talking about how I wanted to do something with my hair, it was between two different styles of haircuts, Tyler told me to me to go extreme, so I did. Pixie cut it was. That's right I chopped all of my coarse thick horse hair off, now I look like tinkerbell jk. Tyler and I like it, so I hope everyone else will.

DAT COMPLETED HOORAY!!!!

I cannot explain the happiness I felt yesterday when Tyler called me with the good news......not only was his DAT test over, but he also got a good grade! HOOOORRRAAAHHHH!!!! The biggest smile overtook my face, and I could not stop my body from jumping up and down, I was extatic!!!! Tyler has studied so hard for so long, he definitely deserved to do well. This morning when I woke up I had a smile on my face, I get my husband, my best friend, my buddy back! Let's go swimming, was the second thing I thought ha! And we did, and it was amazing! Yes, it is finally warm enough to go swimming in Logan, that's right!

NEW MOON * I AM TOO EXCITED!!!!

Okay I know, I know what you are all thinking....chill out Kimberly it doesn't come out till November 21, I just can't help myself. I am obsessed!!! I would just like to say that I am so glad there is a new director and that the movie better be BETTER than Twilight! Don't get me wrong fellow Twilight lovers, I loved the movie and all of its korny sayings ("spider monkey"); however, I know that the movie did not do the book justice. I only hope that New Moon can at least contend with it. And just so everyone knows, I am for team Edward!

NOT THE DAT AGAIN!!!!

Okay so I thought I would let everyone know what is currently going on in the Bradshaw world; Tyler is studying everyday, for a minimum of 6 hours a day, and has been for about a month now, to help himself prepare for the DAT! I am so proud of him, and it is times like these that I am glad I get to take care of Ashlyn. I had doubts before, but I am 100% positive now that I have the better end of the stick ha. He takes the DAT on May 28th, if all goes as planned, so wish him luck!

Ashlyn will be 8 months on Memorial Day, I am so caught off guard by how fast she is growing up. I didn't really believe the people that told me to cherish every moment with her because they grow up so fast, well you can go ahead and say you told me so! I love her to so much! I have kinda been bitter for a long time, wondering why I got pregnant before I was ready, this was not part of the plan. I now know that this was part of Heavenly Father's plan, he has sent me an angel to rescue me, and that is exactly what she has done . I could not imagine life without her. Love you Ashlyn!


















I am laughing so hard right now, this picture of Ashlyn is so funny to me. If you are wondering how she grew so much hair, and how any child could be this beautiful, I will let you in on a little secret. It is called photo shop ha. Tyler took this picture on his phone the other day, and just a few clicks later Ashlyn had long flowing hair just like her momma ha! I hope you like!

SLACKER

Okay I know I have been slacking on updating my blog, I have been crazy busy lately being gone from my house and visiting family. I am currently at my sister, Becky's house visiting her so Tyler will be able to focus on studying for the DAT. I miss him like crazy, but just one more day...yeah!

It is amazing how fast Ashlyn learns, I feel like as a parent/teacher I can barely keep up. I feel like I just get the hang of her moods, or I finally get her on a schedule and she changes it. She is such a girl, always changing her mind about what she wants. And she is sassy, I love it, she definitely gets that from her momma. I will post pictures when I get home because I forgot my camera cord to hook up to the computer; but I thought I would update everyone on what Ashlyn is doing now.

7 months old and Ashlyn can do, her likes/dislikes:

• sit up
• drop her toys just to watch what happens when they hit the floor
• fake coughs
• fake cries
• loves going outside on walks
• loves new faces (as long as I am holding her)
• loves, and is a little obsessed with her momma
• says dada (indiscriminately), gaga, etc.
• squeals, talks a lot (I have to take her out of church all the time, she loves talking)
• loves her baby food and baby cereal
• loves her crackers
• loves drinking out of a glass
• loves standing
• will hold on to my hands and walk (she will probably walk before she crawls)
• can pull up using a chair, my shirt, coffee table, etc.
• loves her jumper
• rolls over both ways, scoots
• can get to sitting position from her stomach (I just barely found her sitting up in her crib this week, so fun)
• can get up on her hands and knees (randomly, she's not a pro yet)
• loves eating my phone, I can't stop her
• loves Baby Einstein
• loves it when people whistle (she smiles so big, and laughs)
• loves to share (she likes to share her pacifier with me, she thinks it's hilarious)
• absolutely loves my dog Jack
• hates naps, and will fight you to the end
• loves hair pulling, necklaces, mouths
• loves the Ensign (I left her on the floor with her toys the other day, then I found her 2 seconds later with an Ensign which she had torn up. She had rolled to my coffee table and stole the Ensign)

There is so much more that she likes and dislikes, just not enough time. We are best buds, and are having a blast! I will post pics soon!

Easter Day * 6 Months Old

Well this past weekend we got a chance to go down to visit Tyler's family. His sister Tara and her boy Beckam were there as well. Ashlyn was so cute with him. Even though he is only 2 months old he is pretty much the same size as Ashlyn, so fun. We ate, played, and ate some more!

Celebrating 2 Years

So Tyler and my 2 year anniversary is May 5. Tyler decided to surprise me early this year to celebrate our anniversary. So early this week he kept asking me if I wanted to go see Wolverine, and me being gullible I said ok, I had absolutely no idea that he was trying to surprise me. I found a babysitter for Ashlyn, and then we were off. We made a deal that we would go out to eat at Firehouse (where Tyler works) and then hurry to the movie. When we got there the manager took us to the our table which was in the expansion (where the parties are held), I was completely confused why he was taking us back there but didn't think much of it. When he opened the door I saw a picture of me on the big plasma t.v. that they have back there. I soon realized that it was our wedding video playing then once I looked around, I saw there was a candle lite table decorated with a table cloth and everything waiting there for us. We were completely secluded back there in this big room. I was completely surprised. Tyler told me, "Happy Anniversary, hey if I wanted to surprise you for it I had to do it early." I was like "what the what"?! Completely surprised, we ate then I was still thinking we were going to the movie, however he told me to go get in the car and then he handed me a blind fold. I was still confused why I would need that if we were just going to the movies. I know I am so slow! Anyways to make a long story short, we didn't go to the movies (Wolverine isn't even out yet ha, he lied to me) he ended up taking me into a building, up two flights of stairs, and opened a door (I was still blind folded this whole time). He took the blind fold off, he had taken me to the new Marriott in Logan. The Honeymoon sweet! There were roses and a small wrapped box on the bed. It was so romantic. Do I have an awesome husband or what!? I love him. Oh ya the small wrapped box protected a beautiful diamond ring in it I love it. Happy Anniversary to me!
