HOPES AND DREAMS

Well about a week ago I finally finished my tote bag that I have been working on for a while. A special thanks to Sam and Tyler for helping push me along to finish it. For Tyler for getting sick with the flu ha, and Sam for lending me the material and showing me how.

You guys are going to think I am crazy but I have been having dreams lately about sewing projects like sewing curtains and pillows, blankets, clothes, etc. It is like God is trying to tell me something, ha, I know right? I am really cool if I am having dreams about sewing ha. Well, tell me what you think about my tote, and if you guys have any ideas about what else I should sew that is relatively easy considering I am no pro....well just let me know.

THE END AND THE BEGINNING

So the end of a long dragging semester is at an end for Tyler and I, hoorah! And my favorite holidays are upon us. Tyler and I are going to be spending Thanksgiving with my in-laws and Christmas with my family yeah! I haven't been home for Christmas in 2 years, that seems like a lifetime to me. It is going to be a pain traveling home to Texas for our first time with tiny Ashlyn. She can't even sit through sacrament meeting I don't know how she is expected to be able to sit on my lap for a 3 hour plane ride. Oh well, its all for the greater good right?

Tyler just finished registering for the spring semester and he is going to have to take 18 credits this coming semester, errrr, I am not looking forward to not being able to see my husband come January. He is graduating in the summer so he is loading on the classes. I am so stoked that he is graduating soon yippie!

Who knows what we will do after that, hopefully move out Logan though!

HALLOWEEN

So all I have to say is Ashlyn was so cute for Halloween, my little black cat! We went trick-o-treating in the morning at all the businesses on Main Street with some friends, it was so fun! Ashlyn was soooo shy, she wouldn't even grab any candy from any of the people at the stores, ha, I don't blame her though, some of those people handing out costumes were pretty scary! Then we ran some errands, you know get some diapers, Lysol (still cleaning up Tyler sickness), and what not. Then we went to my friends Halloween party, it was way fun. Tyler had to work Halloween night but I am glad he was able to make it to the party a little bit later. I made Ashlyn fit into a 3-6 month costume, sad, I just really didn't want to spend any money on a costume that she would only wear once. I was the mama black cat, and Tyler went out on his own and dressed up as "Jemaine" off of the "Flight of the Conchords" it was great! I like how I bought tons of candy for trick-o-treating and no one came, what is up with that, apartments deserve trick-o-treaters too ha!

FALSE ALARM!!!!

Hello, hello everyone sorry that I am such a slacker but better late than sorry, right? This past week has been crazy. Tyler got sick on Tuesday with what we thought was the Swine Flu, so scary he had all the symptoms without the title. Thanks to our friends, Ashlyn and I were able to stay with them for a few days so we wouldn't catch the flu. Ashlyn gets sick so easy and we didn't want to take any chances. Thank goodness he is feeling better!
