HALLOWEEN

We had lots of fun the month of October getting ready for Halloween. Ashlyn was able to go to a lot of different events where she was able to wear her Princess outfit. We went to our ward Trunk or treat, her friend's Halloween bday party, Downtown Carrollton square for trick or treating, then after all that practice it was time for the big day! Halloween! My parents were able to come down and go trick or treating with us which was so much fun. Ashlyn was also able to go trick or treating with her little friends too, she had so much fun!!!

SWIM LESSONS

Okay so Ashlyn has so much energy lately....who am I kidding she always has lots of energy! So we decided for her b-day we would put her in swim classes. Today was her first day and she did amazing! She went underwater without crying (which she usually does with us, but I thought it might be a little more terrifying with someone she didn't know). She did a whole lot of kicking and long story short I am such a proud mother today.

HOT AIR BALLOON SHOW

Well I forgot to post about when we went to the Hot Air Balloon Show. We drove all the way out to Frisco parked, walked, laid out our blanket and waited for about an hour before the Fireman showed up and told everyone that the hot air balloons weren't going up this year due to the severe drought everyone was so mad. We did get to see the hot air balloons from a distance they were lighting up, such pretty colors. Plus side Ashlyn got to see a firetruck up close and take a picture with some Fireman ha. Such a fun night!

TODDLER ADVENTURES

I can't believe Ashlyn is 3 and going to school! How time flies by. Here are some pics of Ashlyn having fun at her preschool, where I teach. We have lots of fun having story time, music time, craft time, snack time, puzzle time, and play dough time. I will miss teaching it.

ASHLYN'S 3rd BIRTHDAY!!!

Well this year I decided I didn't really want to stress out about making Ashlyn a cake, but that I wanted to stress out about the decor instead haha, I know I'm weird. So I made cupcakes instead and we had meringue cookies, rice crispy treats, strawberries, grapes, and donut holes. It was simple and I loved it. I really wanted it to stay classy and simple. It was a "ballerina" themed b-day party which I loved and so did Ashlyn. I made: ballerina cupcake toppers, a tutu to go around the base of the table, hanging pom poms, and happy birthday banners. She had tons of b-day presents and family and friends come over. I hope you had a great b-day Ashlyn LOVE YOU!

I Finally Finished

Well after almost 2 weeks of working on my paper bag wreath it is finally finished (I probably spent about 8-10 hours on it throughout a 2 week period)! So anyways this is what it looks like. And it only cost me a whopping $6!

My all time favorite comfort food!

So ever since I was little my momma would make me this amazing cheap meal every Sunday. Of course, she made us the common roast and potato meal for lunch but in the evening we would always have grilled cheese, tomato soup, and pickles. I absolutely love it. Just thought I would share my favorite cheap comfort food! Yall should try it some time, its amazing. Tyler always makes fun of me cuz I swear I eat this at least once or twice a week. Hahaha and yes I know I burned my grilled cheese a little, I like it that way.
