Ashlyn loves her bath time. She is just barely old enough now that she is starting to notice that she can kick and that there will be a result to her powerful ways....a SPLASH! I think it still startles her in the beginning of bath time then she eventually warms up to it, then she loves it.

ROLLING MACHINE * 6 MONTHS OLD
Okay let me just start off by saying I know I am such a slacker when it comes to keeping my blog updated, so I am going to try to do better. So little Ashlyn lynny lou, I tend to call her by nicknames and this is one of the many, is now 6 months old; time flies by when you are getting more sleep. At her last doctors appointment she weighed 14.5 lbs and was 26 inches long. She definitely is tall and skinny. She can sit up, squeal, laugh, hold her bottle with small amounts of help, and roll over from her back to stomach and stomach to back without a problem. In fact, I think she is quite proud of it, she rolls everywhere. Okay don't think I am a bad parent but just the other day I left Ashlyn on a blanket on the floor in her room for litterally like 2 seconds, went to throw a piece of trash away came back and I couldn't find my baby. Panic set in, I couldn't figure out where she could have gone. Did I miss place her? Could I have miss placed her? Then I heard her squeal. Jack and I followed the noise and found her in her closet just smiling away. She had rolled all the way in there in the matter of 2 seconds. Now I never leave her alone, I am a quick learner believe it or not. She is just so mobile, I can't wait till she starts crawling. I definitely will need to baby proof my place.

TALL & SKINNY - 4-5 MONTHS OLD
Well, my little Ashlyn is growing up so quickly. She rolls over and lifts her chest off the grown. Lately she has started to push her bum into the air and curl in her knees toward her chest, hopefully this means she is about to start crawling I am so excited for the next stage. Don't get me wrong I do very much enjoy the stage she is at right now but am just so excited to have her start being mobile. She is eating rice cereal now, and loves it. She starts kicking like crazy if I pause for 2 seconds to itch or do anything that doesn't involve feeding her. She smiles and giggles all the time, she already has such a personality. Lately, she has been quite a momma's girl. I went to play basketball for my ward last Thursday, and my visiting teacher agreed to watch her at the game. Ashlyn was good for a total of probably 10 minutes before she started going hysterical. She looked up at my visiting teacher and thought this isn't my momma, and started crying. So cute, momma had to come to the rescue. I am not gonna lie it kinda makes me feel good. At her last doctors visit she weighed 13 lbs. an was 25 in. long. She is so tall and skinny, all of her clothes are too wide and not long enough. I love her she is so cute! We have so much fun together. We go on walks with Jack, we snuggle, she loves playing in the bath, and being tickled. Most of all though she loves to be on her momma's hip as I do household chores and my other daily activities. She loves sitting on her daddy's lap while he plays on the computer. They have so much fun together as well, he is always tickling her or playing peek-a-boo with her. So fun.

CHRISTMAS DAY * 3 MONTHS OLD
This December Tyler, Ashlyn, Jack, and I all had the opportunity to spend Christmas with Tyler's family. We had so much fun over the holiday break, we played lots of games, ate lots of amazing food, played basketball, and I even convinced them to do a pinata (hopefully that's how you spell it) on Christmas Eve. We all got to open one present on Christmas Eve, so I decided to open Tyler's present he got me; unfortunately the boots were a little big, as you can tell in the picture. Ashlyn was so cute opening presents on Christmas morning, even though I pretty much opened all of her presents for her, I think she still had fun, well hopefully! Ashlyn and I also got the opportunity to go see Santa at my Wardell Reunion, it was a lot of fun hanging out my family. And don't mind Tyler in the last picture, he is just being silly, but Ashlyn is so adorable in her Santa outfit, I just had to post it.

BLESSING DAY * 13 WEEKS OLD
On December 21 my little girl, Ashlyn, was blessed by her father Tyler John. It was so special! I am glad that we were able to bless her at Tyler's parents house that way his whole family could attend. I am also glad Chip and his family could come and Becky, and Brendon Reeder (Tyler's old friend) could be there. Ashlyn, looked absolutely adorable, I am such a proud parent already.

THANKSGIVING BREAK
We had so much fun going up to Pocatello, ID to visit Tyler's Grandparents over the break. It was like a family reunion for them, so many people. We had fun playing touch football, eating turkey, playing Dr. Mario, and ping-pong. And let me just state that I am the reigning champ with the exception of Ryan (who by the way should go pro). I challenge Tyler and Trenton to try and defeat me hahahaha!

BABY CHUB 10-12 WEEKS OLD
Ashlyn is getting so big, and due to daily belly time sessions she has learned how to roll over. That's right my baby girl is moving! Tyler and I are having so much fun watching her grow both physically and intellectually. She is becoming very aware of her hands and cannot stop sucking on them. We like to call her The Slobbery One, for obvious reasons. She is so adorable!
